Jair Camargo recalled from Triple-A St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed catcher Christian Vázquez on the Paternity List.

Vázquez has played in 84 games for the Twins this season, hitting .228 (60-for-263) with nine doubles, seven home runs, 27 RBI and 26 runs scored.

To replace Vázquez on the 28-man roster, the Twins have recalled catcher Jair Camargo from Triple-A St. Paul. Camargo has played in 67 games for the Saints this season, hitting .205 (53-for-259) with 15 doubles, 11 home runs, 49 RBI and 22 walks. This marks Camargo’s third stint with the Twins this season after appearing in five games in April and July, going 0-for-6 with a walk.
