Minneapolis/St. Paul – The Minnesota Lynx today announced that the team has signed forward Chloe Bibby.
Bibby, a 6-2 forward, joins Minnesota after spending time this season with the Chicago Sky as a developmental player, averaging 5.5 points on 40.0% shooting from the floor, 1.5 assists and 0.5 steals per game in four appearances. Her best performance came against Seattle on July 15, when she totaled a career-high 14 points on 5-of-11 (45.5%) shooting from the floor, along with four assists and one rebound in the 95-90 win. The Warracknabeal, Australia, native made her WNBA debut with the Golden State Valkyries and Indiana Fever last season, averaging 4.8 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11.0 minutes per game across 14 contests. Bibby also spent time with the Lynx during training camp in 2022 before being waived.
Bibby also has extensive overseas experience, most recently playing with Spar Girona during the 2025-26 season. The forward averaged 14.6 points on 54.1% shooting from the floor and 36.0% shooting from beyond the arc, along with 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in eight EuroLeague contests. Bibby was also named the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto MVP with Spar Girona during the 2024-25 season and the Polish League MVP while with AZS AJP Gorzów Wielkopolski during the 2023-24 season.
On the international stage, Bibby competed with the Australian Opals at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Turkey last March and will represent Australia at the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in September. Bibby also helped lead the Opals to a gold medal at the 2025 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup and a bronze medal at the 2022 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup in Sydney.
The University of Maryland graduate averaged 12.5 points and 5.7 rebounds during her two seasons with the Terrapins, earning All-Big Ten Second Team honors in 2022 and All-Big Ten Honorable Mention recognition in 2021. Bibby finished her five-year collegiate career with 1,373 points, 674 rebounds and 44 blocks across two seasons at Maryland and three seasons at Mississippi State.
