MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have officially signed standout shortstop Brady Ebel, the No. 32 overall selection in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Tod Johnson, Vice President of Amateur Acquisition.

Ebel, a product of Corona High School (CA), is set to turn 18 on July 25. In his senior campaign, the infielder slashed .341/.504/.481 across 31 games, tallying 31 hits, 7 doubles, 2 home runs, 17 RBIs, and 27 runs scored. Over two seasons at Corona, he helped lead the team to a remarkable 58-6 record.

He was one of three Corona High teammates selected in the first round—alongside pitcher Seth Hernandez (No. 6 to Pittsburgh) and shortstop Billy Carlson (No. 10 to the Chicago White Sox)—marking the first time in MLB Draft history that a trio from the same high school was chosen among the first 32 picks.

The son of Dodgers third base coach Dino Ebel, Brady will take batting practice with the Brewers before tonight’s game at Dodger Stadium, where Milwaukee faces Los Angeles.

Prior to inking his deal, Ebel had committed to play collegiate baseball for reigning national champion Louisiana State University (LSU).
