Michigan’s commercial and tribal internet gaming operators recorded a total of $290.7 million in gross receipts from online gaming and sports betting in April, reflecting a 0.9% decrease compared to March.

Monthly Gross Receipts

  • iGaming: $248.1 million (down from $260.5 million in March)
  • Sports Betting: $42.6 million (up from $33.0 million in March)

Monthly Adjusted Gross Receipts (AGR)

  • Total AGR: $259.9 million
    • iGaming: $233.1 million (5.3% decrease from March)
    • Sports Betting: $26.8 million (83.4% increase from March)

Monthly Sports Betting Handle

  • Total wagers placed in April reached $417.6 million, marking a 12.1% decrease from March’s $475.1 million.

Monthly Tax Contributions

State Taxes & Payments: Operators submitted $49.6 million, including:

  • iGaming taxes & fees: $48.2 million
  • Sports betting taxes & fees: $1.4 million

City of Detroit Contributions:
Detroit’s three commercial casinos contributed $13.1 million in municipal wagering taxes and service fees, including:

  • iGaming: $12.6 million
  • Sports Betting: $504,986

Tribal Operator Payments:
Tribal operators reported $5.6 million in payments to their governing bodies.
