Vodnik, 26, has appeared in 33 games for Colorado this season, posting a 3–3 record, 5.25 ERA, and four saves across 36 innings. While his overall numbers reflect the challenges of pitching at altitude, Vodnik has been one of the league’s most explosive arms. According to Baseball Savant, he ranks in the 96th percentile in average fastball velocity (98.6 mph) and the 95th percentile in ground‑ball rate (55.6%).
His recent performance has been even stronger. Since June 15, Vodnik owns a 2.50 ERA over his last 15 outings and has not issued a walk in seven consecutive appearances dating back to July 17.
