SEATTLE, WA.  – Seattle Reign FC travel down to Providence Park to take on Cascadia rivals, Portland Thorns FC in the club’s final NWSL x LIGA MX Femenil Summer Cup group stage match. Coming off a 3-2 loss to Club Tijuana, the Reign are looking to get back in the win column and secure a spot at the top of Group A. In the match, defender Jordyn Bugg made her debut after signing with the club last week and rookies Emeri Adames and Maddie Mercado tallied goals for the Reign. 

The Thorns most recently faced the Royals in the Summer Cup and lost 3-1. Portland’s lone goal of the match was scored by midfielder Olivia Moultrie in the 66th minute.
