LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have traded infielder Gavin Lux to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for minor league outfielder Mike Sirota and the Reds’ Competitive Balance Pick A in the 2025 First Year Player Draft.

About Mike Sirota:
- Age: 21
- Draft: Third-round pick in the 2024 First Year Player Draft by the Reds
- College: Northeastern University
- Stats: In 51 games for the Huskies, Sirota batted .298 with seven home runs and 59 RBIs.
- Achievements: In his sophomore year in 2023, he batted .344 with 18 homers and 54 RBIs, earning All-America Third Team and All-Region Northeast First Team honors.
- Career: Over his collegiate career, he played 143 games, batting .324/.458/.577/1.035 with 29 homers and 111 RBIs, stealing 48 bases in 57 attempts, and walking 120 times against 126 strikeouts. Originally drafted by the Dodgers in 2021 out of the Gunnery Frederick Gunn School in Washington, Connecticut, Sirota did not sign at that time.
