LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed outfielder Teoscar Hernández to a three-year contract worth $66 million.
Teoscar Hernández:
- Age: 32
- 2024 Performance: In his first season with the Dodgers, Hernández hit a career-high 33 home runs and drove in 99 runs. He played 154 games, posting a .272/.339/.501 slash line and a career-best 4.3 bWAR.
- Accolades: Hernández was selected to his second All-Star Game after hitting 19 home runs and driving in 62 runs before the break. He became the first player in Dodgers history to win the T-Mobile Home Run Derby, hitting 49 home runs to defeat Bobby Witt Jr. in the finals.
- Career: Hernández earned his second All-MLB selection at the end of the season, completing his ninth Major League campaign. He is a three-time Silver Slugger Award winner with a career total of 194 home runs and 572 RBIs. He has previously played for Houston (2016-17), Toronto (2017-22), Seattle (2023), and Los Angeles (2024).
