The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Edgardo Henriquez from Triple-A Oklahoma City and placed right-hander Brock Stewart on the injured list due to right shoulder inflammation.

Henriquez Returns to Big League Roster

Henriquez, 23, rejoins the Major League club for his second stint this season. In his first call-up, he tossed 2.1 scoreless innings across three appearances. With Triple-A Oklahoma City, he’s made 22 appearances, posting a 1–1 record with a 6.85 ERA and 36 strikeouts over 23.2 innings.

The Venezuelan native made his MLB debut with the Dodgers last season, recording a 2.70 ERA and five strikeouts in 3.1 innings. Signed as an international free agent on September 25, 2018, Henriquez has appeared in 110 professional games, striking out 248 batters in 177.0 innings since joining the organization in 2019.

Stewart Lands on IL

Stewart, 33, was acquired from the Minnesota Twins on July 31 in exchange for outfielder James Outman. He made four appearances for Los Angeles, allowing two runs in 3.1 innings with three strikeouts. On the season, he holds a 2–2 record with a 2.63 ERA.

Originally drafted by the Dodgers in the sixth round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of Illinois State University, Stewart began his MLB career with Los Angeles in 2016. Over seven seasons, he’s pitched for the Dodgers (2016–19, 2025), Blue Jays (2019), and Twins (2023–25), compiling a 10–5 career record, 4.48 ERA, and 190 strikeouts in 186.2 innings.
