LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski and optioned right-handed pitcher Landon Knack.
Wrobleski, 24, returns for his third stint with the team and he is 1-1 with an 8.00 ERA. Since allowing eight runs in his first four innings this season, the southpaw has fired five scoreless innings with four strikeouts. He has made nine appearances for Triple-A Oklahoma City, tossing 40.2 innings with a 5.09 ERA and 37 strikeouts. He made his Major League debut in 2024, going 1-2 with a 5.70 ERA in eight games. The southpaw is 12-12 with a 3.56 ERA in 67 minor league games. He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2021 First Year Player Draft out of Oklahoma State University.
Knack, 27, made the start yesterday, allowing four runs in 3.1 innings in a no decision against the Mets. He is 3-2 with a 5.12 ERA this season in nine games (seven starts) for the Dodgers. He is in his second season with Los Angeles, and he is 6-7 with a 4.18 ERA in 107.2 innings. He was drafted in the second round of the 2020 First Year Player Draft out of East Tennessee State University.
