LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers activated right-handed pitcher Joe Kelly, selected the contract of left-handed pitcher Zach Logue and optioned right-handed pitchers Bobby Miller and Michael Grove. In order to make room for Logue, the Dodgers transferred right-handed pitcher Tyler Glasnow to the 60-day injured list.

Kelly, 36, has been out since August 31 with right shoulder inflammation. He made two rehab appearances with Triple-A Oklahoma City, finishing with two strikeouts in a scoreless inning on Sunday. The 13-year veteran owns a 1-1 record through 31 games this year, striking out 30 batters over 27.2 innings. Since rejoining the Dodgers last season, the righty has posted a 2-1 mark in 42 games with 49 strikeouts and 15 holds. Logue, 28, was signed by the Dodgers on September 12 and sent to Triple-A Oklahoma City. He made one appearance for OKC, allowing one run in 3.0 innings with one strikeout. The lefty had a 2.68 ERA in 23 games, including 12 starts, for Triple-A Gwinnett prior to joining the Dodgers organization. He has spent two seasons in the Major Leagues with Oakland (2022) and Detroit (2023) and he is a combined 3-8 with a 6.88 ERA in 17 games (10 starts). He was originally drafted in the ninth round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Kentucky.

Miller, 25, pitched 2.0 innings Tuesday, allowing four runs on seven hits. He was 2-4 with an 8.52 ERA and 52 strikeouts in 56.0 innings. He is in his second season with the Dodgers, and he is a combined 13-8 with a 5.24 ERA and 171 strikeouts in 180.1 innings in over 35 Major League starts. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the first round (29th overall) of the 2020 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Louisville.

Grove, 27, suffered the loss last night, allowing three runs on 1.2 innings. He dropped to 4-4 on the season with a 5.12 ERA in 39 games for the Dodgers.
