Honeywell, 29, was claimed yesterday from the Pirates and was added to the 40-man roster as right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto was moved to the 60-day injured list. Honeywell was designated for assignment by the Pirates on Friday night after making two appearances and allowing one run in 3.1 innings. The Georgia native was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays with the 72nd pick of the 2014 First Year Player Draft out of Walters State Community College.

Vanasco, 25, allowed three runs on three hits last night and has appeared in two games for the Dodgers this season (2.0 IP, 3 ER).
