Veteran infielder receives Major League camp invite
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Astros have signed veteran infielder Luis Guillorme to a minor league contract with an invitation to Major League Spring Training. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Dana Brown.

Guillorme, 30, spent the 2024 season with the Braves, Angels, and Diamondbacks organizations, playing in a total of 79 games. He hit .205 (33-for-161) with nine doubles and 10 RBIs. The versatile infielder showcased his skills at second base (55 games), third base (15 games), and shortstop (5 games) in 2024, marking his sixth consecutive season playing all three positions in the Major Leagues. Over his seven-year career, Guillorme has appeared in 414 Major League games, primarily with the Mets.
Guillorme will wear No. 0 and joins the Astros’ Major League camp as the 65th player, including the 14th infielder.
