HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Astros have officially signed eight players from their 2024 MLB Draft class, including three non-drafted free agents. The highest draft pick to sign today was fifth-round selection RHP Cole Hertzler from Liberty University. The announcement was made by Astros Director of Amateur Scouting Cam Pendino.

The Astros made a total of 19 selections in the three-day 2024 Major League Baseball Draft, which ended on Tuesday.

The deadline for teams to sign their draft picks is August 1.
