Four rounds of #NHLStats as the Golden Knights look to win back-to-back Stanley Cups:
* The Golden Knights have qualified for the postseason for the sixth time in their seven seasons of existence, but this could be the first time they enter the Stanley Cup Playoffs as a Wild Card team. Vegas, which has won at least one playoff series in four of its five previous trips, can become the third team in League history to win at least one round in six of their first seven NHL seasons following the Rangers (6 from 1928 to 1933) and Oilers (5 from 1981 to 1986).
* The Golden Knights hold the highest playoff game winning percentage (.614) and the League’s highest series winning percentage (.733). Vegas is one of two teams in the NHL’s modern era to capture a Stanley Cup in their first six seasons of existence (also Edmonton in 5 seasons).
* After capturing its first Stanley Cup in 2023, Vegas can tie the New York Rangers (7) for the fourth-fewest seasons to two Stanley Cup wins in NHL history. The only other franchises to require fewer seasons to win multiple championships are the original Ottawa Senators (4), Toronto Maple Leafs (5), and Edmonton Oilers (6).
* Since entering the NHL in 2017-18, the Golden Knights (11-4) have the second-most series wins behind only the Lightning (13-4). Vegas and Tampa Bay (both w/ 4) are also the only two teams that have made at least four appearances in the Conference Finals/Stanley Cup Semifinals since the former’s inaugural season.

* Since 2017-18 when the Golden Knights entered the League, they have the second-most playoffs games played (88) and wins (54), trailing only the Lightning in each category (61-37 in 98 GP).
* Alex Pietrangelo (2021 R2 & 2019 SCF) and Alec Martinez (2014 SCF & 2014 CF) are two of four active defensemen that have scored multiple series-clinching goals. The others: Victor Hedman (2020 R2 & 2016 R2) and Kris Letang (2016 SCF & 2013 CSF).
* Jonathan Marchessault is one of seven undrafted players since the NHL’s first draft in 1963 to win the Conn Smythe Trophy following Wayne Gretzky (2x), Bobby Orr (2x), Bernie Parent (2x), Yvan Cournoyer, Roger Crozier and Serge Savard. Marchessault ranks in the top three among all active undrafted players in playoff goals (1st; 34), assists (2nd; 38) points (1st; 72) and games played (3rd; 95 GP).
* Alex Pietrangelo has an abundance of experience in potential series-clinching games where he has posted 3-16—19 (23 GP). His 19 points trail only Kris Letang (7-13—20 in 34 GP) for the most among active defensemen and rank tied for eighth among all active players.
* Bruce Cassidy looks to become the fourth head coach to win a Stanley Cup in each of his first two seasons with a franchise. The others: Mike Sullivan (2016 & 2017 w/ PIT), Toe Blake (1956 & 1957 w/ MTL) and Pete Green (1920 & 1921 w/ SEN).
* Tomas Hertl is the only player in NHL history to score a shorthanded winner in a playoff game that required multiple overtimes and did so against the Golden Knights in Game 6 of the 2019 First Round. He is one of nine players in League history to have scored a shorthanded goal in any overtime period of a postseason game.
