Diggins and Thomas Headline 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game Reserves

NEW YORK — Skylar Diggins of the Seattle Storm and Alyssa Thomas of the Phoenix Mercury headline the list of 12 reserves selected for the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game. The midseason showcase tips off Saturday, July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, home of the Indiana Fever. Fans can tune in at 8:30 p.m. ET across ABC, Disney+ and ESPN+.

Diggins, the league’s fifth-leading active scorer, and Thomas, the career leader in triple-doubles, are among the standout talents named by WNBA head coaches, who voted for three guards, five frontcourt players, and four additional spots regardless of position. Coaches could not vote for players on their own team.

Guard Reserves:

  • Skylar Diggins (Storm): 7th selection; averaging 18.5 ppg and 5.9 apg
  • Sonia Citron (Mystics): 1st selection; ranks second in rookie scoring (14.6 ppg)
  • Rhyne Howard (Dream): 3rd selection; leads WNBA in made three-pointers (49)
  • Kelsey Mitchell (Fever): 3rd selection; ranks 5th in league scoring (19.3 ppg)
  • Kelsey Plum (Sparks): 4th selection; scoring 20.1 ppg, MVP of 2022 All-Star Game
  • Courtney Williams (Lynx): 2nd selection; key contributor to league-best 16–2 record
  • Gabby Williams (Storm): 1st selection; leads WNBA in steals (2.6 spg)
  • Jackie Young (Aces): 4th selection; averaging 17.3 ppg and 3.7 apg

Frontcourt Reserves:

  • Alyssa Thomas (Mercury): 6th selection; league leader in assists (9.4 apg)
  • Angel Reese (Sky): 2nd selection; WNBA rebounding leader (12.6 rpg)
  • Kiki Iriafen (Mystics): 1st selection; rookie standout with 8.3 rpg
  • Kayla Thornton (Valkyries): 1st selection; career-highs in scoring and rebounding

Citron, Iriafen, Gabby Williams, and Thornton will be making their All-Star debuts.

Previously Announced Starters:

Captains Caitlin Clark (Fever) and Napheesa Collier (Lynx) topped fan voting and will lead their squads in the roster draft airing Tuesday, July 8 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will be the centerpiece of three full days packed with WNBA activities, including the WNBA STARRY® 3-Point Contest, Kia WNBA Skills Challenge and WNBA Live presented by Panini. The WNBA STARRY 3-Point Contest and Kia WNBA Skills Challenge will both air on ESPN on Friday, July 18 beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
