Cleveland Guardians complete four roster moves

CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Guardians announced today the following transactions relative to the 2024 Major League roster:

Placed RHP Alex Cobb on the 15-day Injured List, retro to August 16 (fractured fingernail, right hand) .

Selected the contract of LHP Anthony Gose from AAA Columbus.

Transferred LHP Sam Hentges (left shoulder inflammation) from 15-day to 60-day IL.

Additionally, OF Chase DeLauter has been promoted from AA Akron to AAA Columbus.
