Eder, 26, was designated for assignment by the White Sox on March 27. He made his major-league debut with the Sox last season, allowing one run over 2.0 IP in his only appearance on September 17, 2024. Eder was acquired by Chicago from Miami on August 1, 2023, in exchange for infielder Jake Burger.
