Chicago White Sox Reinstate Mike Tauchman From Injured List; Designate Travis Jankowski For Assignment

DETROIT – Prior to today’s series finale at Detroit, the Chicago White Sox returned outfielder Mike Tauchman from his injury rehabilitation assignment at Class AAA Charlotte and reinstated him from the 10-day injured list. To make room for Tauchman on the active roster, the White Sox designated outfielder Travis Jankowski for assignment.

Tauchman, 34, has been on the injured list since March 27 (retroactive to March 23) with a strained right hamstring. He was signed by the Sox as a free agent on December 11 after spending the 2024 season with the Chicago Cubs.

Jankowski, 33, has gone 3-14 (.214) with one run scored in seven games this season after signing with the White Sox as a free agent on March 12.
