CHICAGO – Prior to tonight’s game vs. Oakland, the Chicago White Sox announced the following two roster moves:

  •  Placed on 15-day injured list (1): RHP Matt Foster with a lower back disc herniation (retroactive to September 12);
  •  Recalled from Class AAA Charlotte (1): LHP Jake Eder.

Eder, 25, is 3-9 with a 6.61 ERA (80 ER/109.0 IP) and 122 strikeouts (10.07 per 9.0 IP) in 24 starts between Class AA Birmingham and Class AAA Charlotte in 2024.
