Player Details
Joshua Palacios (OF)

Palacios, 29, joins the White Sox after playing five games for Triple-A Charlotte this season, where he hit .231 (3-for-13) following his minor league signing on April 4. Over his MLB career, Palacios has appeared in 156 games with Toronto (2021), Washington (2022), and Pittsburgh (2023–24), recording a .230 batting average (91-for-396) with 13 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, 55 RBIs, 51 runs scored, and seven stolen bases. The 6-foot, 210-pound outfielder was originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of Auburn University. He will wear jersey No. 47.

Omar Narváez (C)
Narváez, 33, was called up from Double-A Birmingham, where he played three games in 2025, hitting .250 (2-for-8) with a double and two RBIs. He notably caught the season debuts of left-handers Noah Schultz (April 4) and Hagen Smith (April 5). A seasoned veteran, Narváez has played nine major league seasons with the White Sox (2016–18), Seattle (2019), Milwaukee (2020–22), and New York-NL (2023–24), compiling a career .251/.334/.374 slash line with 83 doubles, 53 home runs, and 203 RBIs in 677 games. He will wear jersey No. 22.

Korey Lee (C)
Lee, 26, injured his left ankle during the sixth inning of last night’s game. In nine appearances this season, he is batting .333/.412/.467 (5-for-15) with two doubles, one RBI, and three runs scored.

Mike Tauchman (OF)
Tauchman, 34, re-aggravated his hamstring while attempting to score the game-tying run in the ninth inning of last night’s 3-2 loss. He is hitting .400 (4-for-10) with two walks and one run scored in three games this season, after starting the year on the 10-day injured list.

Juan Carela (RHP)
Carela, 23, underwent successful Tommy John surgery in March. His release reduces the team’s roster obligations moving forward.

Following these transactions, the White Sox 40-man roster remains at capacity with 40 players.
