Chicago White Sox complete two roster moves

CHICAGO – Prior to tonight’s series opener vs. Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox announced the following two roster moves:

  •  Recalled from Class AAA Charlotte (1): RHP Jordan Leasure;
  •  Optioned to Charlotte (1): RHP Steven Wilson.

Leasure, 25, is 0-2 with a 4.08 ERA (13 ER/28.2 IP), two saves, eight holds, 26 strikeouts and just one home run allowed over 30 relief appearances with the White Sox this season. He made six appearances with Charlotte after being optioned on June 14.

Wilson, 29, is 1-5 with a 3.46 ERA (10 ER/26.0 IP), eight holds and 26 strikeouts in 30 relief appearances this season, his first with Chicago. He was acquired from San Diego as part of a five-player deal on March 13.
