BALTIMORE – Prior to tonight’s game at Baltimore, the Chicago White Sox announced the following two roster moves:

  •  Designated for Assignment (1): RHP Touki Toussaint;
  •  Recalled from Class AAA Charlotte (1): RHP Matt Foster.

Foster, 29, has made two appearances over two stints with the White Sox this season, throwing 3.0 scoreless IP with one walk and two strikeouts. He has recorded a 2.40 ERA (4 ER/15.0 IP) with 19 strikeouts in 14 outings with Charlotte.

Toussaint, 28, is 1-2 with a 7.43 ERA (19 ER/23.0 IP), 18 walks and 26 strikeouts in 11 relief appearances with the Sox this season.

The White Sox 40-man roster decreases to 38.
