Chicago White Sox complete two roster moves

CHICAGO – Following today’s doubleheader vs. Minnesota, the Chicago White Sox announced the following roster moves:

  •  Returned to Class AAA Charlotte (1): LHP Jake Eder;
  •  Returned from Rehabilitation Assignment at Class AAA Charlotte, Reinstated from 10-Day Injured List and Optioned to Charlotte (1): OF Dominic Fletcher.

Eder did not pitch after serving as the 27th player for today’s doubleheader.

Fletcher has appeared in eight rehab games between the Arizona Complex League White Sox and Charlotte. He has been on the injured list since June 3 with a left shoulder strain suffered while making a home-run saving catch on June 2 at Milwaukee. Fletcher is batting .173 (13-75) with four doubles and six RBI in 28 games with Chicago this season.
