The Chicago White Sox have made several roster adjustments ahead of their series finale against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The team has selected the contract of infielder Bobby Dalbec from Triple-A Charlotte, placed infielder Chase Meidroth on the 10-day injured list due to right thumb inflammation, and transferred left-handed pitcher Martín Pérez to the 60-day injured list.

Bobby Dalbec Joins the White Sox
Dalbec, 29, has been a standout performer for Triple-A Charlotte, hitting .326/.354/.696 with three doubles, one triple, four home runs, and 13 RBIs this season. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound infielder signed a minor-league contract with Chicago on January 7 and will wear uniform No. 31.
Dalbec previously spent five seasons with the Boston Red Sox (2020-24), compiling a .222 batting average, 47 home runs, and 142 RBIs across 331 major-league games. He was originally selected by Boston in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
Meidroth Heads to Injured List
Meidroth, 23, has appeared in nine games for the White Sox this season, batting .269/.387/.269 with one RBI, four runs scored, five walks, and one stolen base. He made his major-league debut on April 11 against Boston, going 1-for-2 with three walks.
Pérez Transferred to 60-Day IL
Pérez, 34, was initially placed on the 15-day injured list on Saturday due to left elbow inflammation after exiting Friday’s game in the fourth inning. His move to the 60-day IL will keep him sidelined for an extended period.
Following these transactions, the White Sox maintain their 40-man roster limit.
