The native of El Limon, D.R., is 4-3 with a 3.06 ERA (18 ER/53.0 IP) in 54 career major league games across four seasons with Houston (2020-22) and Milwaukee (2024). The five-foot 11-inch righty was named a Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star in 2017 and a Carolina League Mid-Season All-Star in 2019. Following the 2022 season, he was named a Pacific Coast League Post-Season All-Star and an MiLB.com Organization All-Star as a member of the Astros’ farm system. He signed with the Astros as an international free agent in 2014 and made his major league debut July 24, 2020.

Hollowell, 26, was recalled yesterday and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings with one strikeout in last night’s game.
