• Toledo sophomore quarterback Dequan Finn threw for three touchdowns, including the game-winner with 1:18 left to lead Toledo (7-3, 5-1 MAC) to a 28-21 victory over Ball State at the Glass Bowl Tuesday night. With the win, paired with Western Michigan’s loss to Northern Illinois — the Rockets have claimed the MAC West Division Title and will head to the 2022 MAC Football Championship Game on Saturday, December 3rd at Noon ET (ESPN).
• Central Michigan freshman quarterback Bert Emanuel Jr. rushed for 293 yards and the first three touchdowns of his career as Central Michigan rallied from a 17-point deficit to beat Buffalo 31-27 on Wednesday night. The 293 rushing yards are the most by any FBS Quarterback since 2019.
• Ohio (7-3, 5-1 MAC), claimed the Battle of the Bricks victory, defeating Miami, 37-21. Redshirt junior quarterback Kurtis Rourke finished the game 25-for-35 with three passing touchdowns on 362 yards. Rourke surpassed 5,000 career passing yards, putting him among the top five Ohio quarterbacks in program history.
• Eastern Michigan (6-4, 3-3 MAC) used an impressive defensive performance, highlighted by a season-high three interceptions, en route to a 34-28 victory over the University of Akron on Tuesday. The win was Eastern’s sixth of the season and officially qualifies the Green and White for postseason play. It marks the sixth time in program history, and the fifth under ninth-year Head Coach Chris Creighton, that the team has qualified to play in a bowl game. Moreover, it marks bowl eligibility for the fourth consecutive year, which is a program record.
