Historic home games headline Week One action for United Athletic Conference Football squads as the league officially kicks off its second season of competition. In addition to a pair of hosting duties, UAC teams are set to square off against a plethora of FBS foes including teams from the ACC, Big XII and SEC.

– All nine UAC programs are slated to play during the opening weekend… Southern Utah got an early start on Thursday night with a clash versus in-state foe #12 Utah

– West Georgia, who begins its transtion from DII to DI this season, will host Samford in the program’s historic FIRST Division I (FCS) football game
