MEAC Conference action kicks off this weekend with the Circle City Classic between North Carolina Central and Norfolk State which will simulcast in Spanish on ESPN+. Delaware State, Morgan State and South Carolina State will each take on programs from the CAA, while Howard takes on Ivy League opponent Princeton. 

The action begins at 2:00 p.m. as Delaware State travels to Buies Creek, N.C., to take on Campbell at Barker-Lane Stadium. The game will air on FloSports. 

Two games kick off at 3:00 p.m. as the Bison face the Tigers of Princeton, while the Eagles and Spartans face off in the Circle City Classic in the first MEAC game of the season.  

Howard heads back to the Garden State this weekend to face Princeton following a heartbreaking one-touchdown loss, 27-20, to Hampton in the Truth & Service Classic. Saturday’s game will air on ESPN+. 

North Carolina Central and Norfolk State will be the first MEAC matchup of the season when they face off in the 40th Circle City Classic. The game will broadcast on ESPN+ and simulcast in ESPN+ Spanish as part of the Conference’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The game will re-air on ESPNU at 11:00 p.m. 

Morgan State is back on the road taking on Stony Brook from the CAA at 3:30 p.m. The game will broadcast on FloSports. 

South Carolina State returns to the gridiron when they host North Carolina A&T State in their home opener of the 2024 season. The game will broadcast on ESPN+ at 6:00 p.m.
