Canucks’ Hoglander Fined for High-Sticking

NEW YORK – Vancouver Canucks forward Nils Hoglander has been fined $2,864.58, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for high-sticking Detroit Red Wings defenseman Jake Walman during NHL Game No. 848 in Vancouver on Thursday, Feb. 15, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 7:56 of the third period.

The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
