NEW YORK – Brooklyn Nets center Nic Claxton has been fined $25,000 for throwing the game ball into the spectator stands, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

The incident, for which Claxton was assessed a technical foul and ejected, occurred with 8:46 remaining in the second quarter of the Nets’ 101-94 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 19 at Scotiabank Arena.
