Boston Red Sox reinstate INF Vaughn Grissom from 10-day injured list

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox today reinstated infielder Vaughn Grissom from the 10-Day Injured List and optioned him to Triple-A Worcester.

Grissom, 23, was placed on the Injured List on June 2 with a right hamstring strain. The right-handed hitter has played in 23 games for Boston this season, making 22 starts at second base and one as the designated hitter while batting .148 (12-for-81). Acquired from the Atlanta Braves on December 30, 2023, the Florida native has also batted .259 (21-for-81) in 22 games this season with Worcester.
