Boston Red Sox completes five roster transactions

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:

  • Infielder Vaughn Grissom and right-handed pitchers Luis Guerrero and Josh Winckowski were optioned to minor league camp.
  • Catchers Nathan Hickey and Mark Kolozsvary were reassigned to minor league camp.

With today’s roster moves, the Red Sox have 46 players remaining in Major League Spring Training camp, including 12 non-roster invitees.
