Boston Red Sox compete two roster transactions

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox have made several roster changes today:

  • Right-handed pitcher Luis Perales and outfielder Jhostynxon Garcia have been optioned to minor league camp.
  • Left-handed pitcher Jovani Morán and right-handed pitchers Robert Stock, Brian Van Belle, and Jacob Webb have been reassigned to minor league camp.

As a result of these moves, the Red Sox now have 57 players remaining in Major League Spring Training camp, including 19 non-roster invitees.
