BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox have announced the signing of outfielder Jarren Duran to a one-year contract for the 2025 season, with a club option for 2026.

This agreement leaves the Red Sox with no remaining players eligible for salary arbitration.
Duran, 28, had a standout 2024 season, finishing eighth in the American League Most Valuable Player voting and earning his first career All-Star selection. He batted .285 (191-for-671) with 111 runs scored, 48 doubles, 14 triples, 21 home runs, and 34 stolen bases. A California native, Duran was selected by Boston in the seventh round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft and has hit .272 (357-for-1,314) in 353 career Major League games, all with the Red Sox from 2021-24.
