BOSTON, MA – The Boston Fleet announced today that forward Laura Kluge has signed a one-year Standard Player Agreement (SPA) for the 2025–26 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) season.

Kluge, 28, joins Boston after appearing in 13 regular season games and three playoff contests for the Toronto Sceptres during the 2024–25 campaign, contributing two assists. Originally from Berlin, Germany, she was invited to Toronto’s pre-season training camp and officially signed with the club in February.

“Laura brings a dynamic blend of size, speed, and grit,” said Fleet General Manager Danielle Marmer. “She has high-end potential and we believe she’s just beginning to tap into what she’s capable of at this level. I’m eager to see her evolution in Boston.”

A veteran of international play, Kluge has represented Germany at three U18 Women’s World Championships and eight senior IIHF Women’s World Championship appearances. She played four NCAA seasons at St. Cloud State University, tallying 46 points (12 goals, 34 assists) across 79 games. Following her collegiate career, Kluge returned to Germany to compete with ECDC Memmingen in the DFEL, where she posted 73 points in 38 regular season games and 24 points across 12 playoff appearances, helping secure league championships in 2023 and 2024.

“I’m thrilled to join the Fleet,” said Kluge. “Boston is an incredible sports city, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to contribute both on and off the ice. I’m ready to get to work.”

Kluge joins a Boston roster that now features 15 signed players for the upcoming season, including recent additions Chloé Aurard, Liz Schepers, defenders Zoe Boyd and Rylind MacKinnon, and goaltender Abbey Levy.
