NEW YORK – Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard and Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell are the AFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for Week 11 (November 14, 17-18).

OFFENSE: QB BO NIX, DENVER BRONCOS

  • Nix completed 28 of 33 attempts (84.8 percent) for 307 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a 145.0 rating in the Broncos’ 38-6 win over Atlanta. Nix became the second rookie quarterback all-time with at least 300 passing yards, four touchdown passes and a passer rating of 140-or-higher in a game, and recorded the third-highest completion percentage by a rookie quarterback (minimum 30 attempts) in NFL history.
  • This is the first Player of the Week award for Nix, becoming the first Broncos rookie quarterback to earn the honor. Nix also won Rookie of the Month in October (Weeks 5-8).
  • Nix joins Marcus Mariota (twice in 2015) as the only two former Oregon quarterbacks to win Player of the Week as a rookie.

DEFENSE: LB TERREL BERNARD, BUFFALO BILLS

  • Bernard recorded eight tackles, a sack and the game-sealing interception in the Bills’ 30-21 victory over the Chiefs. Bernard was the only player in the NFL with a sack and an interception in Week 11.
  • This is Bernard’s second-career Player of the Week award, also earning the honor in Week 3 of the 2023 season. He becomes the fourth Bills linebacker to win Player of the Week multiple times, joining Cornelius Bennett (seven-time winner), Bryce Paup (three) and Matt Milano (two).
  • Bernard is the second former Baylor player to win Defensive Player of the Week multiple times since 2000, joining Xavien Howard (three-time winner).

SPECIAL TEAMS: K CHRIS BOSWELL, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

  • Boswell accounted for all of Pittsburgh’s points in its 18-16 victory over Baltimore, converting six field goals, three of which were 50 yards-or-longer. Boswell became the first player in NFL history with six made field goals in three career games and joined John Carney (1993) as the only kickers with multiple such games within a season all-time.
  • This is the fourth-career Player of the Week award and second this season for Boswell, tying Jeff Reed (four-time winner) for most Special Teams Player of the Week awards by a Steeler.
    • 2015: Week 6
    • 2017: Week 13
    • 2024: Weeks 1, 11
  • Boswell is the only former Rice player to win multiple Player of the Week awards.
