When, Where, and How to Watch?

Place: Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia

Date: Sunday, October 29, 2023

Time: 2:30 p.m. ET

How to Watch: NBC

Christopher Bell won the Xfinity 500 last year but is not among the top favorites to win the event next Sunday. One of the main reasons for that is that he doesn’t have to go all-in. The reason is that he’s already secured a spot in the 2023 NASCAR Championship Race by winning last weekend’s race at Homestead.

It’s very likely that we won’t see him risk too much on Sunday. In fact, his job at Martinsville could be to help out some of his teammates from Joe Gibbs Racing. One of his colleagues who needs his help this weekend is Denny Hamlin.

Martinsville Speedway is the shortest oval track in the NASCAR Cup Series with just 0.526 miles in length. And Denny Hamlin loves it!

This guy has five triumphs at Martinsville in his career, although the last of those came in 2015 when he won the 2015 STP 500 (now known as NOCO 400). The last time he won the Xfinity 500 was in 2010 when the event was sponsored by TUMS Fast Relief. In the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series, there’s already been one race at Martinsville – the 2023 NOCO 400 – in which Hamlin finished fourth, behind Kyle Larson (#1), Joey Logano (#2), and Martin Truex Jr. (#3).
