A’s Add LHP Brady Basso as 27th Man for Doubleheader

OAKLAND, Calif. — The Oakland A’s added left-handed pitcher Brady Basso as the 27th man for today’s doubleheader, the club announced today.

In two stints with the A’s, Basso has tossed 1.1 scoreless innings with one strikeout across two outings (May 31 & June 2 at Atlanta). Between Double-A Midland and Triple-A Las Vegas, the left-hander is 3-2 with a 5.01 ERA (26 ER/ 46.2 IP) in 11 starts with 54 strikeouts and 13 walks.
