Selected C Adrian Del Castillo (No. 25) from Triple-A Reno MLB Bio

B/T: L/R | 5-10, 208 │Age: 24 (Sept. 27, 1999) in Miami, Fla.

  •  Will make his Major League debut.
  •  Hit .319 (126-for-395)/1.011 OPS with 36 doubles, 3 triples, 24 home runs, 70 RBI, 86 runs and 52 walks in 100 games with Reno.
  •  At the time of his selection, ranked among Pacific Coast League leaders in hits (1st), runs (1st), doubles (1st), SLG (1st, .608), OPS (1st), home runs (2nd), AVG (5th), OBP (5th, .403) and RBI (8th).
  •  Named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Month for May, after batting .359 (37-for-103)/1.053 OPS with 10 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs, 17 RBI, 20 runs and 8 walks over 26 games…led the PCL in hits and total bases (66) and ranked second in AVG, doubles and SLG (.641).
  •  Started 58 games at catcher and 38 at designated hitter for Reno this season.
  •  In 2023, started the season at Double-A Amarillo, hitting .273 (60-for-222)/.891 OPS with 13 doubles, 1 triple, 12 home runs and 45 RBI over 63 games…was promoted to Reno in mid-July and hit .248 (34-for-137)/.340 OBP with 6 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 23 RBI in 37 games with the Aces.
  •  Selected by D-backs in the second round of the 2021 draft out of the University of Miami.
