Seattle Mariners outfielder Victor Robles, currently rehabbing with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers, has been handed a 10-game suspension and an undisclosed fine for his actions during the third inning of Sunday’s game in Las Vegas, according to an announcement from Michael Hill, MLB’s Senior Vice President of On-Field Operations.
The suspension is set to take effect once Robles is reinstated to the Mariners’ Major League roster. However, Robles has chosen to appeal the decision, meaning the disciplinary action will be paused until the appeals process concludes.
