BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox have placed right-handed pitcher Liam Hendriks on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to May 28) due to right hip inflammation. To compensate for his absence, the club has recalled right-hander Nick Burdi from Triple-A Worcester.
