Winnipeg, MB., The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have officially signed American defensive back Marque Collins to the team.

Collins (5’11”, 175 lbs) is a Brigham Young University product, born September 18, 2000, in Sacramento, CA. His football career spans an impressive seven years, including stints at Weber State (2018–2024) and BYU (2024). Most recently, Collins showcased his skills during the 2025 Big 12 Pro Day held in March.

During his time at Weber State, Collins excelled defensively, tallying 100 tackles (70 solo, 30 assisted), five interceptions, and 1.5 sacks across 47 games. His standout sophomore season in 2019 saw him achieve career highs with 39 tackles (29 solo, 10 assisted), six pass breakups, and one sack in 12 starts, earning him an All-Big Sky Honorable Mention in 2021. Collins also contributed to three Big Sky Championship teams during his tenure.

Transferring to BYU for the 2024 season, Collins continued to impress by starting in 12 of 13 games, accumulating 25 tackles (16 solo, 9 assisted) and two interceptions. His efforts were recognized with an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention by the College Football Network.
