The Colorado Rockies have made several roster adjustments ahead of today’s doubleheader, adding right-handed pitcher Jaden Hill as the 27th man, placing right-hander Victor Vodnik on the 15-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation (retroactive to April 17), and selecting the contract of right-hander Zach Agnos from Triple-A Albuquerque. Additionally, left-handed pitcher Evan Justice has been designated for assignment.

Zach Agnos Joins the Rockies

Agnos, 24, has been impressive with Triple-A Albuquerque, posting a 2.25 ERA over eight innings across six appearances, recording two saves, three walks, and 10 strikeouts. He was a non-roster invitee to Major League Spring Training in 2025, where he pitched to a 3.48 ERA over 10.1 innings with nine strikeouts.

In 2024, Agnos excelled between High-A Spokane and Double-A Hartford, finishing with an 8-3 record, a 1.38 ERA, 17 saves, and 63 strikeouts over 52.1 innings. His dominant performance led the Rockies’ Minor League system in saves (17), ERA (1.38), and opponent batting average (.160) (minimum 50 innings pitched). He was recognized as a 2024 MiLB Rockies Organizational All-Star and a Northwest League Postseason All-Star.

Originally drafted by Colorado in the 10th round of the 2022 MLB Draft, Agnos played college baseball at East Carolina University.

With these moves, the Rockies continue to adjust their bullpen depth while navigating injuries and roster needs.
