Lee missed the team’s first 15 games of the season due to a lumbar strain. During his rehab assignment, the 24-year-old appeared in four games between Low-A Fort Myers and Triple-A St. Paul, recording three hits in 13 at-bats (.231) with one walk. Lee made his major league debut on July 3, 2024, and in 50 games last season, he hit .221 (38-for-172) with six doubles, one triple, three home runs, 27 RBI, 11 walks, three stolen bases, nine runs scored, and a .585 OPS.

To accommodate Lee’s return to the active roster, the Twins have optioned infielder Jose Miranda to Triple-A St. Paul. Miranda appeared in 12 games for Minnesota this season, batting .167 (6-for-36) with one home run, five RBI, and two runs scored.
