Right-handed pitcher David Festa recalled from Triple-A St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins have announced that right-handed pitcher Pablo López has been placed on the 15-day Injured List (retroactive to April 9) due to a right hamstring strain.

López sustained the injury during his April 8 start against the Kansas City Royals, where he was removed in the fifth inning. Over his three starts this season, López has compiled a 1-1 record with an impressive 1.62 ERA (16.2 IP, 3 ER), two walks, 14 strikeouts, and a 1.02 WHIP.
