LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced the recall of left-handed pitcher Justin Wrobleski while optioning right-handed pitcher Matt Sauer to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Wrobleski, 24, is set to start this evening. He recently pitched 5.2 scoreless innings in his lone start for Triple-A Oklahoma City, recording three strikeouts. The southpaw made his Major League debut in 2024, finishing the season with a 1-2 record and a 5.70 ERA across eight appearances. Over his minor league career, Wrobleski holds an 11-11 record with a 3.20 ERA in 59 games. He was selected by the Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2021 First-Year Player Draft out of Oklahoma State University.

Sauer, 26, took the mound last night, allowing one run on three hits over 1.2 innings of relief. He debuted in the majors in 2024 with the Kansas City Royals, recording a 7.71 ERA in 14 appearances without a decision. Over seven minor league seasons, Sauer has compiled a 22-27 record with a 4.36 ERA and 451 strikeouts. He was originally drafted by the Yankees in the second round of the 2017 First-Year Player Draft out of Ernest Righetti High School in Santa Maria, California.
