Despite not winning the previous four Formula 1 races, Max Verstappen is still in the lead. He’s sitting at the top of the F1 Drivers’ championship with 78 points more than second-place Lando Norris. He’s got a comfortable lead, but the season is long, so unless he pulls himself together, the Red Bull driver could be in trouble.
So, can he get back onto the winning track on August 25? The 2024 Dutch GP odds suggest it’s not going to be easy. In fact, oddsmakers from BetUS give an advantage to Lando Norris.

For the second time this season, Max Verstappen isn’t the main favorite to win the race. Instead, it’s Lando Norris whom bookies expect to win on August 25. His 2024 Dutch Grand Prix odds are +175 at BetUS, which isn’t too different from the ones given on Max Verstappen winning (+185).
Nevertheless, this means that Norris and McLaren have every right to hope for a good result in the Netherlands.
If he’s going to win this race, it’s going to be only his second win of the season. The Englishman was favored to win the Belgian GP four weeks ago as well, but he finished 5th, just behind Verstappen.
Even though he’s without a win in the last four F1 races, Max Verstappen remains the best driver on the planet. He did make some questionable decisions in the last couple of events, which cost him the podium finish. However, we think he’s learned from his mistakes.
The same goes for his team, which struggled to provide him with enough support in the last four events. On top of everything, his car – RB20 – malfunctioned on a couple of occasions this season, causing additional problems for the Dutchman. However, with four weeks to solve all the issues, Verstappen and Red Bull look ready to challenge for the No. 1 spot on the podium once again. Even though he’s second on the list of the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix favorites, he’s the top favorite in our eyes. One of the key reasons for this is that he’s the man who won every single Dutch GP since the return of this event to Circuit Zandvoort in 2021.
