Selected RHP Yilber Diaz (No. 45) from Triple-A Reno MLB Bio

B/T: R/R | 6-0, 190  Age: 23 (Aug. 19, 2000) in Guatire, Venezuela.

  •  Will make his Major League debut.
  •  This season has combined to go 4-8 with a 4.03 ERA (37 R-34 ER in 76.0 IP) and 105 strikeouts in 15 starts between Double-A Amarillo and Triple-A Reno.
  •  Named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for July 1-7, after tossing 6.0 no-hit innings with a career-high 13 strikeouts @ Sacramento.
  •  His 105 strikeouts lead all D-backs Minor League pitchers.
  •  In 2023, split the season between High-A Hillsboro and Double-A Amarillo, going 3-10 with a 4.82 ERA (60 R-55 ER in 102.2 IP) and 140 strikeouts.
