CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Guardians today announced the following transactions relative to the Major League roster:

Placed RHP Shane Bieber (right elbow injury) on the 15-day Injured List, retroactive to Apr. 3.

Recalled RHP Peter Strzelecki (#34, STREZ-lecky) from AAA Columbus

Strzelecki, 29, was acquired on March 28 from Arizona. He split last season between the Arizona and Milwaukee

organizations, appearing in a combined 37 Major League games between the two stops. He was originally signed by the Brewers in 2018 as a non-drafted free agent out of the University of South Florida, debuting with Milwaukee in June of 2022. The Lantana, FL native currently owns 1.0 scoreless inning (2K) to date at AAA Columbus (4/3 vs. Omaha).
